About Lola

Colorful Paper Cutouts

Hi, I'm Deborah!

I was born and raised in Costa Rica, a little country in Central America. I was blessed to  meet my husband Aaron when we were 15 years old in one of his church's many missionary trips to my beautiful country. We got married 3 years ago and I moved to Jefferson City, Tennessee, this beautiful place which I now call home.

I have always been in the search for products free of synthetic and chemical ingredients that could possibly be doing more harm than good to you,  so I started being more conscious about the products I was using and what I put in and on my body.

One day I was watching a video about soap making and suddenly I felt sparks, so I thought why shouldn't I give it a try? I realized it would be the perfect way to have an amazing product that could actually do just good and Oh Boy! it was fireworks! I fall in love with it, so with the support of my loving husband I decided to teach my self on how to make soap and so I ventured on making my own formulas in the search for not just an other bar of soap but one that could actually give just LOVE to your skin, and here we are.

When choosing the name I wanted it to be something very close to my heart. My husband and I love bees, we keep a small apiary with the help of my father in law and some friends, and it so happens to be that my name means BEE in Hebrew.

Lola came from one of the first books I learned to read with in Costa Rica called "Paco y Lola", around 8 years ago I named my very own first furry baby (my Yorkshire Terrier) Paco so it was obvious I had to called my second baby Lola.

So, that is how Lola Bee Soap Co. was born and we are so thrilled to have you here with us today.
